In England, people don’t talk very much. You can go on a bus or in a train, and everyone sits and looks out of the window. Sometimes they read books or newspapers. But they don’t usually talk to each other very much. When English people meet, they often talk about one thing — the weather. So when you meet someone in England, you can say “It’s a fine day today”. When you talk like this, English people will think you’re very friendly. But remember: Please don’t ask them the age, or they will be uncomfortable.
Question: What do English people often talk about when they meet?
参考答案:
They often talk about the weather.
