I’m Tony from New York, the United States. And in my first year in high school I went to study music in London, England, and I stayed in someone’s home. I have to say one thing that really troubled me was that it often rains. I had to take an umbrella with me whenever I went out. You know, in New York, we don’t need to worry about the weather too much. But the people there were very sweet. I was also surprised by many differences in the language. For example, people said “film” for “movie”, and “ring you up” instead of “give you a call”, and things like that. It took me a little time to understand everything. But it was fun.
