How time goes by! I’ll graduate in two weeks. Looking back at these past three years, I’m proud of overcoming my shyness. I can now speak to anyone. I remember starting in Grade 7; I was the shyest in the whole class and never spoke. I was afraid to read texts loudly, so my pronunciation was poor. I studied harder, but I got poor grades in English at the end of the year. In Grade 8, I joined the school football team. From then on, I changed little by little. Now I like speaking in public, and my English has improved. I’m grateful to my school for helping me make these changes.
