Henry Ford was born into a poor family in America. He was the eldest of the six children. When he was twelve years old, his mother died. Soon he had to work in a machine shop for two dollars and fifty cents a week. This hard life made him strong and capable. At that time, there was a major interest in the life of the young Ford. He wished to make a machine that could run without a horse, which is why he would later name it a “horseless carriage”. He overcame a lot of difficulties, and in April, 1893, the horseless carriage was invented at last. Later, Henry Ford founded the Ford Motor Company. The invention of the car expanded the living space of human beings and changed the way we travel.
