Journey to Australia

Last month, I went to Australia with my family. We enjoyed ourselves.

Australia, the largest country in Oceania, lies on the south coast of the Pacific. It covers an area of 7.6 million square kilometers. It has a population of over 20 million. Most of its people live in the east of the country by the sea. In Australia, the sky is bluer than blue, the clouds are whiter than white. As the climate there is warm and comfortable, many people from different countries spend their vacations there every year. The local people enjoy optimistic and active lives. They also show kindness and enthusiasm to the tourists. Canberra, the capital of Australia, is a beautiful city. Sydney is the biggest city in Australia; it has many places of interest. The Sydney Opera is well known all over the world. The 2000 Olympic Games were held in Sydney. Australia has many rare and precious animals, such as kangaroos and koalas. Australia is famous for wool production. It’s sometimes called “a country riding on the back of sheep.”
