Hello, everybody! I’m Tony, from New York, the United States, and in my first year in high school, I went to study history in London, England. And I stayed in someone’s home. I have to say, one thing that really troubled me was that it often rained. I had to take an umbrella with me whenever I went out. You know, in New York, we don’t need to worry about the weather too much. But the people in England were very sweet. As for the English people speak here, sometimes I felt a little strange and interesting though English is my first language. I was even surprised by many differences in the language! They said “film” for “movie”, and “ring you up” instead of “give you a call”, and things like that. It took me a little time to understand it all, but it was fun.
