Silence is a form of communicating."And"different silences have different meanings. 

Here are four kinds of silence:

Silence 1: I don’t agree. But, I’m afraid to tell you.

Silence 2: I have another idea — but doubt you’ll listen.

Silence 3: I don’t know what you’re talking about — but don’t want to ask a question.

Silence 4: I’m not really interested enough to ask you to go over it again.
