It is a busy afternoon at Brown Medical Clinic. Lots of people are sitting in the waiting room and thinking about the questions they are going to ask the doctor.
Frank wants to know if he broke his arm because he fell off his bicycle just now. Mrs King needs to know if she has lost too much weight. John wants to find out whether he should go on a diet. Mrs White has to put off her trip in order to see the doctor, because she has a bad toothache. Dan is hoping to find out if he will be able to play in the soccer match next week. Linda is going to ask the doctor whether she has something wrong with her ears. She is afraid that she will become deaf. Joe is anxious to know if he has cancer. Sophie has had a bad headache recently. She is wondering if there is something wrong with her brain. Tom had a shower last night he feels bad today. He is anxious to know whether he should take some medicine.
Everybody is waiting patiently and silently, but they hope they don’t have to wait too long. They are all anxious to hear the answers to their questions.
