1. Do you buy lottery tickets? Have you ever won?

2. What would you do if you won a lot of money?

The lucky twenty-one

A special group of men just won part of New York’s $41 million lottery. They laughed"and"hugged each other to celebrate. These twenty-one winners are special because they come from different countries. Peter is from Australia. He bought the tickets for the group. The others come from China, Germany, Japan"and"France. They all work in the same factory near New York."And"before they started to buy lottery tickets together, each man chose six numbers. Then each one gave Peter his numbers"and"one dollar to buy a ticket."And"all the members signed a contract. In the contract, they all agreed to share the prize money equally.

Each one in the winning group is going to receive $25,000 a year for the next twenty years. Some families plan to make a few changes with the money. Peter plans to buy a big house. Mr Zhao plans to travel to Hawaii with his family. Bob wants to help the poor,"and"he would like to continue his studies abroad if possible.

But most of the winners have decided to continue their usual lives. Edward would like to keep working. ”It’s not much money for a family of five,” he said."And"Mark will just wait"and"see. “I don’t know what to do with the money. I don’t want to make up my mind now,” he answered the journalist’s question.
