Welcome to Our Farm

I’m Laura. We live on a farm in England. Our summer is short,"and"not really hot, but the temperatures are the highest then. The autumn is beautiful. Lots of travelers visit then. In the winter, we usually have snow for five or six months. We have lots of sheep, cows"and"horses. We also grow corn, peppers"and"watermelons.

How do we grow corn? Come"and"have a try. First, choose the right kind of corn seeds. Next, turn on the digging machine, dig some holes. Then, put the seeds into the holes. Finally, cover the seeds"and"water them.

The people here eat a traditional breakfast: eggs, a few pieces of bread with butter, cheese or honey"and"some yogurt or fruit. They drink milk shake, juice or coffee. Lunch is between 12:30 p.m."and"1:30 p.m. People usually have sandwiches, soup,"and"salad with lettuce"and"other vegetables. Schools here often serve hot"and"cold lunches. Dinner includes potatoes, vegetables, spaghetti, fish, chicken or other meat.

Our farm is a cool place to live. You should come"and"visit us one day.
